Applicant must be a graduating senior of Wayne Valley or Wayne Hills High School, with a minimum
3.5 GPA who has participated in several seasons in a varsity sport, demonstrates commitment to the
team and school spirit, and has been accepted into a 4-year college/university.

Student demonstrates kindness, compassion and empathy for others in their everyday lives though
positive interaction with the school community. This student leads by example by being a friend to all.

In about 500 words or less, the student should describe why he/she feels they should be awarded this scholarship for sportsmanship, kindness, compassion and empathy. Student should cite examples in school and/or out of school where they have demonstrated these qualities and have had a positive impact on others.
